What documents are required for opening a Live Account?

The following documents are required for opening an Individual Account:

square One valid unexpired form of ID. This can be one of the following:

  • Passport;
  • National ID card (front and back side copies);
  • Driving licence.

Please provide colour copies that clearly show your photo, name, date of birth, signature, issue and/or expiry date and serial number.

square One recent* document verifying your current address:

  • Utility bill (electricity/gas/water or landline phone bill);
  • Bank statement;
  • Residence Certificate, issued by the government or local authority.

* Issued within the past 3 months

Please note that further documents may be required depending on the type of trading account you are applying for.

I can't login to my account!

This could be due to several reasons:

  • Please ensure that you have a stable internet connection, preferably not a wireless one;
  • Make sure that you have typed in your correct password; it is better to type it in manually, rather than copy and paste it; Remember that passwords are case sensitive and that some letters such as “o” could be mistaken for digits, such as “0” (zero) and vice versa;
  • If you are logging into JForex, make sure you have entered the correct PIN combination; you can find a step-by-step guide on this by clicking here ;
  • Ensure that you have installed the latest Build of the MT4 platform or the latest Java release in case of JForex accounts;
  • In the case of JForex accounts, you could try cleaning the Java cache;

I forgot my password, how do I retrieve it?

Please click “Forgot Password” on the Client Portal login page at portal.tier1fx.com, enter your registered email address and click the “Reset” button. You will then receive an email with a password reset link through which you can set your new password.

I forgot my MT4 trading account password, how do I retrieve it?

You can reset your MT4 account password via the section My Accounts of your Client Portal:

– Navigate to section My Accounts and click on the account you wish to reset the password for;
– In the new window, click the “Change Password” button;
– Enter a password of your choice in the field New Password;
– Re-enter the same password in the field Retype Password
– Click “Submit

I forgot my JForex trading account password, how do I retrieve it?

Please email support@tier1fx.com requesting a password reset and you will shortly receive a new password by email.

Please remember to quote your JForex login in your email.

What is EPM Stop Loss?

Tier1FX EPM (Equity Protection Management) is a remarkable feature that gives managed accounts more reliable and flexible control over risk and exposure. You can set up your own equity drawdown limit, ensuring a more effective protection of your investments. Once your equity falls to the EPM Stop Loss level you have specified, the system will automatically close all open positions and will cancel all pending orders.

Do you charge commission?

Our commission structure depends on the type of account you choose. We offer two main types of accounts:

green square T1 STP Markup where the trading cost is built into the spread.
green square T1 STP Commission where we offer tight interbank spreads and a commission applies.

Both tiers offer spread/commission reduction, as your traded volume increases.

Can I run your platforms on a Mac?

Yes, you can! All our platforms, including MT4, are fully compatible with Mac.

Are your platforms available for Android/iPhone/iPad/Blackberry?

Both T1FX MT4 and JForex offer mobile applications forndroid, iPhone and iPad.

They are not currently available for Blackberry and Windows Mobile OS.

How can I fund my account?

You can fund your account via bank transfer, Neteller and Skrill, within your Client Portal “Transfers” section. Note: We are currently able to accept only bank wire transfer as a funding/withdrawal method for the following countries (including but not limited to): Afghanistan, Algeria, Angola, Belarus, Benin, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Congo, Cote d’Ivoire, Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Guyana, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Lao PDR, Liberia, Libya, Madagascar, Malaysia, Mauritania, Myanmar, Niger, Nigeria, North Korea, Pakistan, Panama, Papua New Guinea, Sao Tome and Principe, Somalia, Syria, Togo, Uganda, Yemen.

How do I withdraw funds?

Simply visit the “Transfers” section within your Client Portal.

Please note that funds can only be withdrawn via the method you used to deposit and profits can only be withdrawn via bank transfer.

What is the minimum deposit amount for opening an account?

The minimum initial deposit for opening an account is EUR 1,000 or the equivalent in other currencies. There is no minimum amount for top-up deposits.

Can I transfer funds between my Live Accounts?

Yes, you can transfer funds between your accounts via the “Internal Transfer” section of your Client Portal.

What are your Margin Requirements? What is your Stopout Level

Once your Margin Level reaches or falls below 100%, (Equity becomes equal to or less than 100% of Margin), the system will automatically begin to close your open positions, starting with the most unprofitable one.

In order to limit your exposure, once your Margin Level falls below 100%, you will not be able to place new trades and all pending orders will be cancelled.

How long is my demo valid for?

Tier1FX demo accounts are valid for 60 days by default. If you wish to extend this period, please send a request to support@tier1fx.com before the 60-day period is up.

Do you offer bonuses?

No, we do not. Instead, we prefer to focus on constantly improving your trading experience and conditions by investing in first-class liquidy, execution and technology.

Do you accept residents of all countries?

Due to regulatory restrictions, we are unable to accept applications from residents of the following countries: USA, Iran, North Korea.
